Celebrate mid-Autumn festival with Tung Lok's exquisite mooncake creations made with time-honoured recipes and tantalising flavours. Expertly crafted without the use of animal fat and preservatives, they are a treat to the senses and appreciated by all.
The mooncakes come in elegant custom-designed gift boxes that are perfect for corporate clients and loved ones alike. This season features three new packaging along with new refreshing flavours, including two delightfully delicate snowskin creations. Those with a sweet tooth will love the Tutti Frutti line made using fresh fruit puree like honeydew, mango, apricot, passion fruit and strawberry. The New & Nourishing range features mooncakes with wholesome ingredients like chrysanthemum, black sesame, red dates and longans.
The classic baked mooncakes have sufficiently sweet lotus paste fillings that are light on the tastebud, yet flavourful. The yolks have a nice golden, orange hue and lends a good savoury balance to the sweet paste. The Pandan Lotus flavour has a subtle pandan fragrance to it and is complimented by a scattering of pistachios and a nice yolk in the center. The Double Yolk White Lotus is made with equal finesse with the velvety smooth paste enclosed in an oh-so-thin layer of traditional baked skin.
The Tung Lok Perfect Duo and Tung Lok Four Seasons are traditional four-piece mooncake sets while the Tung Lok Mini Mooncakes hold eight pieces of Egg Yolk in White Lotus Paste. The Bite-Sized series has 16 pieces in assorted flavours including Green Tea Lotus and Multi-grains with Brown Sugar. Shanghai Dream is their classic tin packaging that holds four pieces in each box and the Mini Snowskin holds eight pieces per box with selections from Tutti Fruitti, New & Nourishing and Classic Favourite.
